Richard J. Angowski, Jr.

Rich Angowski focuses his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation, commercial property transactions, land-use applications, and the daily counseling of businesses.  His experience as both a trial and transactional attorney provides Rich a global perspective which allows him to protect his clients’ interests in good times and bad.  He has a proven track record in both Federal and State courts nationwide.  Rich engages in a practical approach to navigating the intersection between the law and his clients’ goals.  He believes that legal representation should be a pragmatic process and not one that exhausts a client either emotionally or financially.

Rich graduated from Georgetown University in 1999 with a B.A. in Government/International Affairs. He then attended Seton Hall University School of Law, graduating in 2004. After serving as a Judicial Law Clerk in Ocean County for the 2004-2005 term, Rich entered private practice. He is admitted in New Jersey (2005), New York (2006), the United States District Court of New Jersey (2005), the Southern District of New York (2017), and the Eastern District of New York (2019). In 2014, the New Jersey Law Journal recognized Rich as one of the “New Leaders of the Bar,” formerly known as the “40 Under 40” list.  New Jersey Monthly Super Lawyers also named Rich a “Rising Star” for the years 2014-2017.

Rich’s clients range from brick-and-mortar commercial real estate developers to cloud-based technology companies.  He maintains offices in both Summit and Red Bank, NJ.  In addition, Rich is active in community organizations throughout Monmouth County, NJ and serves as a Member of the Borough of Red Bank Zoning Board of Adjustment.
