Sean Rose is an associate at OlenderFeldman where he focuses on litigation matters. Sean represents corporations and businesses of all sizes in complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts throughout New Jersey and New York. Sean’s practice includes shareholder, member, and partnership disputes; disputes concerning restrictive covenants (including non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality/trade secret provisions); and construction claims.
Although Sean has a consistent record of obtaining favorable outcomes for his clients, he prides himself on being more than just a “litigator.” When strategizing the approach to any matter, Sean works with the team to dissect both the client business and the process to move the dispute (and the business) forward towards achieving positive and practical results.
Prior to joining the firm, Sean worked at the Newark office of a large law firm representing businesses and insurance companies in a wide variety of commercial, coverage, and professional liability matters. Sean also completed a judicial clerkship for the Hon. Angela White Dalton, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Sean earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law. At Rutgers, Sean was a Dean’s Scholar and an Associate Developments Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion. He was selected as a member (and later Captain) of the Rutgers National Moot Court team, winning Best Oralist at a national tournament. He also completed internships for the United States Attorney’s Office and Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office. Sean was also heavily involved in the law school’s public service programs, earning the Dean’s Publico Award for Exceptional Service at graduation. Sean continues to stay involved at Rutgers and assists in coaching the school's National Environmental Law Moot Court team.
