Jason R. Hawrylak is Counsel to the firm. Jason concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial real estate, land use and commercial litigation, but routinely counsels his clients on ancillary matters that arise during the course of his representation of their interests. Jason represents the business community at large in state and federal courts and before Planning and Zoning Boards of Adjustment throughout New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm, Jason worked for ten years at a central New Jersey law firm representing individuals, businesses and governmental entities in a vast array of matters including commercial and residential real estate, land use, litigation defense, trusts and estates, family law and criminal defense.
Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Economics and Psychology from Georgetown University in 2005 and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Seton Hall School of Law in 2008. While at Seton Hall School of Law, Jason was the recipient of The Center for Social Justice Outstanding Clinical Practitioner Award for the Civil Litigation Clinic. After graduating from law school, Jason clerked for the Hon. James S. Rothschild, J.S.C., in Essex County.
From 2011-2017, Jason also served as one of the four Commissioners on the Middlesex County Board of Elections where he was appointed to help monitor and oversee the federal, state and local elections in Middlesex County, New Jersey.
Jason is admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and New York.
